Delivery Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Checkout covers the goods only. Inside Nigeria you pay the dispatch rider when the order arrives. Outside Nigeria we send the goods with a delivery company you and we have agreed, and you deal with that company for the trip.
Issued by Bounty Barn Nigeria Limited, 14, Amusa Alabi Street, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria. Email hello@bountybarnhq.com or call +234 (0) 814 206 4474. These policies sit alongside the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Nothing here removes a right Nigerian law gives you.
1. Where we deliver
We deliver within Nigeria. At checkout you give a full delivery address: street, area, city or town, and state, plus a phone number we can reach on the day of delivery. An incomplete address can delay the order. If we cannot locate the address after contacting you, we may cancel and refund the order.
We also send orders outside Nigeria. Before we dispatch, you and we agree the delivery company in writing, by email or message. We use that agreed sender. We do not choose a different company after you have agreed.
2. When we deliver
Time starts when payment is confirmed, on a working day. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Nigerian public holidays.
- Lagos State, including Ipaja and the rest of Lagos: 1 to 3 working days.
- Other states: 3 to 7 working days.
- Hard-to-reach areas may take longer. We will contact you if we expect that.
These times are for addresses in Nigeria. They are estimates, not a guaranteed time of day. Orders paid after 3:00 pm West Africa Time, or on a weekend or public holiday, are treated as received on the next working day. For an address outside Nigeria, the delivery time is the estimate given by the sender you and we agreed.
3. Delivery charges
The amount you pay at checkout is the price of the goods. We do not calculate a delivery fee on the website, and Paystack does not collect one.
Inside Nigeria, you pay the dispatch rider directly when the goods arrive. The rider sets that fee for the trip. Before the order leaves us, you can ask for an estimate for your area by email or phone. An estimate is a guide. The amount you hand the rider can differ if the address is farther than expected or the rider’s rate for that trip is different.
Outside Nigeria, you pay the delivery company you and we agreed. We can pass on that company’s estimate before dispatch. We do not add their fee to checkout, and we do not collect it.
Keep the rider’s receipt if they give you one. We do not receive that payment, and a refund of the goods does not automatically include it. Where the goods are faulty, wrong, or unsafe, see the Refund Policy.
4. Receiving the order
This section and the next one apply to deliveries inside Nigeria.
Please make sure someone is available at the address to receive the parcel and to check that the pack is sealed and matches the order. You have a right to examine goods under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. If the outer pack is crushed, leaking, or obviously wrong, tell the rider before they leave and email us the same day with your order number and photographs.
If you cannot be there, tell us a reliable alternative contact before the delivery day. Goods handed to a person at the address you gave us count as delivered.
5. If delivery does not succeed
If the rider cannot reach you, we will try to call or message the phone number on the order and arrange one further attempt. If we still cannot deliver because the address is wrong or no one is available, we will hold the order for five working days and contact you. After that we may cancel the order.
If the goods come back still fit for resale, we refund the product price you paid us. A fee the rider charges for a wasted trip is paid to the rider. For food that is no longer fit to resell because of the delay, we will explain the position and refund the product price where the failure was ours.
6. Risk, delays, and problems
Ownership of the goods passes to you when we receive full payment for them.
For an address in Nigeria, risk stays with us until the goods are delivered to that address. If a delay, weather, or other event outside our control pushes delivery past the estimate, we will tell you. You may cancel for a full refund of the product price if we have not yet handed the order to the rider, or if the delay is long enough that you no longer want the goods and they have not been delivered.
For an address outside Nigeria, risk of damage or loss passes to you when we hand the goods to the delivery company you and we agreed. From that moment the goods are at your risk while they are with that company, including if they are damaged, lost, or delayed in transit. Any claim for that transit is with the delivery company, not with us. This does not apply to goods that were already wrong, short, or unfit when we handed them over.
Damaged, missing, or wrong items on a delivery inside Nigeria are handled under the Refund Policy.
