Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms cover use of bountybarnhq.com and purchases from Bounty Barn Nigeria Limited. By browsing the site, creating an affiliate account, or placing an order, you agree to them.
Issued by Bounty Barn Nigeria Limited, 14, Amusa Alabi Street, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria. Email hello@bountybarnhq.com or call +234 (0) 814 206 4474. These policies sit alongside the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Nothing here removes a right Nigerian law gives you.
1. Who we are
Bounty Barn Nigeria Limited grows maize and pepper and sells finished food products, including Bounty Pap, through this website. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the company. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order.
Our registered place of business is 14, Amusa Alabi Street, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria. That address is the address for notices under these terms.
2. How a contract is made
Product pages and prices anywhere on the site are an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. Putting goods in your cart does not reserve them, does not lock a price, and does not show that you or we are committed to a sale. We may sell those goods to anyone else while they sit in your cart.
When you submit an order and pay, you offer to buy those goods at the price charged at that checkout. A contract is formed only when payment is confirmed. Card, transfer, and USSD payments are confirmed by Paystack. If a coupon reduces the amount due to zero, the contract is formed when we accept the order and mark it paid. A failed or abandoned payment does not create a contract.
We may refuse to sell to any person, and we may charge different prices to different people. We may decline an order before payment is confirmed if the goods are out of stock, we suspect fraud, or we cannot deliver to the address given. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund the amount you paid. The price already paid is the price we honour for that order. See the Refund Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
3. Products
We sell food. Descriptions, weights, and photographs are meant to be accurate. Small differences in colour or texture can occur because the goods come from crops. The goods you receive will match the name, weight, and description on the product page and on the pack.
Packaged foods are sold subject to the labelling and safety rules that apply in Nigeria, including rules administered by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) where those rules apply to the product. Ingredients and any allergen information are on the pack. Read the pack before you use the product, especially if you have an allergy.
Under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 and the sale-of-goods rules that apply in Lagos State, goods must match their description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for their ordinary purpose as food. Those rights stay with you.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in Nigerian Naira and can change at any time, without notice. A price on a product page, in a message, or saved in your cart can be replaced before you pay. We honour only the price you actually pay at checkout for that order. A lower or higher price given to someone else does not apply to you.
We choose the price for each sale. That price may differ by customer, by location, and by country. The price shown when you pay is the price for your order. Delivery is not included. Inside Nigeria you pay the dispatch rider when the order arrives. Outside Nigeria you pay the delivery company you and we agreed. Where a tax applies to a product, it is included in the price shown unless we say otherwise before you pay.
Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card number, PIN, or bank login. Paystack’s own terms apply to the payment step.
A coupon applies only if it is active, unexpired, within its use limit, and the cart meets any minimum stated for that code. The discount is calculated on the goods subtotal and is confirmed before you pay. We may withdraw a coupon that was issued in error. One coupon applies per order.
5. Delivery and refunds
Delivery is covered by our Delivery Policy. Returns, replacements, and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.
6. Affiliate programme
The affiliate programme is separate from a customer purchase. You apply with your name, email, a referral code, and a password. We review applications. A referral link works only after we approve the account.
Commission is a percentage of the amount the customer actually pays on a paid order that is attributed to your code. The rate for your account is shown in your affiliate dashboard. We snapshot that rate on the order. Commission is not earned on failed, cancelled, or fully refunded orders. If we refund part of an order, we may reduce the commission in proportion.
You must describe our products honestly. You must not pretend to be Bounty Barn, spam people, buy through your own link, or use your code on an order you placed for yourself or your household. We may reject, suspend, or close an account that breaks these rules, and we may withhold unpaid commission that came from those orders.
We pay commission in Naira after the related order is fulfilled and the refund window for that order has passed. Payment details are arranged with you by email. You are responsible for any tax that applies to your commission, including personal income tax.
7. Using the website
You may use the site to read about our products, place orders, contact us, and, if approved, run an affiliate account. You must not misuse the site, attempt to access another person’s order or account, or interfere with checkout, coupons, or referral tracking.
The site name, product names, photographs, and text belong to us or our licensors. You may share a product or referral link. You may not copy our branding or product content for your own goods.
8. Liability
We are responsible for supplying the goods you paid for, and for loss that Nigerian law does not allow us to exclude. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
For other claims about a particular order, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for loss caused by an incorrect delivery address you gave us, by use of a product after its pack told you not to use it, or by events outside our reasonable control, such as flood, civil unrest, or a courier network failure. If an event outside our control stops us delivering inside Nigeria, we will tell you and refund any amount you paid for goods we cannot deliver. For an address outside Nigeria, once you and we have agreed the delivery company and we have handed the goods to that company, you bear the risk of damage or loss in transit.
9. Complaints and Nigerian law
Write to us first at hello@bountybarnhq.com with your order number. We will acknowledge a complaint within two working days and aim to resolve it within fourteen working days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State may hear a dispute. You may also complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), and if you are in Lagos, to the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency. Choosing these courts does not remove any forum Nigerian law gives you.
If a clause in these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
